ooh!! wow!! god you're making some truly, truly beautiful art, katsim - i'm in awe! this is strangely erotic, i don't know why ... you must show the others, they'll love it!!
i like your paintings, i like those two ones down below the best, are they abstracts? like do they derive from observations or are they trying to depart from it? hey do you like luc tuymans or more really actually eberhard havekost i like eberhard's work i think for maybe the same reasons i like your work. this definite attempt at abstracting obviously photographically derived work or something. they are definitely erotic in nature, i just can't tell how. at first i wasn't sure if i liked how big and boxy this red piece is, but on second thought i actually do like that. are they all semi-sculptural in that aspect? maybe you could totally make them COME OUT, like not just a box shaped, you know? maybe you coould totally make them into giant fingers of light reaching ootu of the wall.. i had this friend who made these sculptures that she would make COME OUT OF THE WALLS and they looked vaguely like these paintings, except yours are much more expressionistic. heres were much more airbrushed and in that sense they sort of lost the innate emotion that comes with the act of painting, you know? sorta like a jeff koons oil painting. but i like the expressionisitic way that you're trying to portray these concepts about light our clouds or something? \
